Cutting/Plant Information

Variety Guarantee

We guarantee that the plants and cuttings we sell are true to type. We will refund your purchase price and shipping if there is ever a mix up.

We buy our cuttings and plants  from reputable sources and list the sources on the product pages.

Plants are primarily grown from our own stock, but we also offer extra plants grown from ordered cuttings for sale, this is always noted in the individual items.

Sale Timing

Sign up for email notifications on when varieties will be posted.

Plants will go on sale in mid April once the weather warms up enough to ship and continue through the summer until they are all sold.

Cuttings will be posted in November as our plants start to go to sleep for the winter.

What is a TinkerBug

A tinker bug is what my wife calls me when I try to grow 1,000 fig plants in our basement 🙂

Orders and Returns

What should I do if my plant is damaged?

Plants are shipped very carefully, but the Postal Service may damage even the best packaged plant. All plants are insured through Priority Mail, so you can place a claim with the USPS using this link. If you have questions or concerns about a shipment we are available.

What about returns?

If you are unhappy with the quality of the fig cuttings or plants you receive contact us within 48 hours to return them. For cuttings keep in mind that rooting cuttings is a challenging process that never results in as many plants as you have cuttings. We are happy to answer your rooting questions and have provided articles and information in our Fig Knowledge section, but we cannot guarantee your rooting success
