Description
Battaglia Green is a tasty green fig that is hardy and bears large numbers of brilliant green figs. The figs have a dark interior for a green fig. The fig is similar to Strawberry Verte, but reportedly superior in taste. The fruits are medium-sized and hold up well to rain and humidity. It is also easier to root than most. I bought my trees from Hermansur/Vasile who said they were easy to root, I didn’t believe him till I tried rooting extra cuttings last fall and nearly every small piece of this plant took and turned into its own plant!
