Description
Black Bethlehem is originally from Bass of Trees Of Joy and was discovered in Bethlehem Pennsylvania, which is zone 6b. The mother tree is never protected but rarely dies back and fruits well every year. It is a very cold hardy fig. The fruit ripens early to mid-season and is small to medium in size. It is a dark fig with a dark interior. It is thought to have originated in Greece.
