Description
A rare fig from Donov this fig has an attractive dark purple color with tasty interior. It is cold hardy and a quick grower with a closed eye. The original growers in Europe have said this is a common fig, but it has dropped figs for many in the US and may prove to be a Smyrna (i.e. requiring pollination by the fig wasp to ripen fruit).
