Kadota is a greenish-white fig of small to medium sized with amber flesh. It is delicious fresh or dried and is also great canned. It has a rich, sweet taste and is good for hot climates such as the South East. Here in New Jersey the plant is vigorous and quick to produce. In its first year my plant grew one branch over 10 ft tall and a second branch over 6 ft tall! It was the fastest growing of the 80 varieties I started in 2017/2018.
